Terms of Service

Agreement
By using EatAWhale, you agree to these terms. EatAWhale is operated by Bit X Bit Labs LLC. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Service
EatAWhale is a personal interest and hobby tracker. You can create interests, log check-ins, track expenses, and organize your activities. The service is provided as-is.
Accounts
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. One person, one account. Do not share your account or create multiple accounts.
Free and Pro Plans
EatAWhale offers a free plan with up to 7 active interests and a Pro plan with unlimited interests and expense tracking. New accounts receive 30 days of Pro access at no cost. The Pro plan is a one-time purchase with no recurring fees. Pricing may change for future purchases, but your purchase is honored permanently.
Payments and Refunds
Pro purchases are processed through Stripe. Since Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have concerns.
Your Content
You own everything you create in EatAWhale. We do not claim any rights to your interests, check-ins, notes, or expense records. You can delete your data at any time from within the app.
Acceptable Use
Do not use EatAWhale to store illegal content, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Availability
We strive to keep EatAWhale available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates. The offline-first design means the app continues to work on your device even when our servers are unreachable.
Limitation of Liability
EatAWhale is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Bit X Bit Labs LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss. We recommend keeping your own records of any critical information.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
